HOW TO CHANGE WINDOWS XP LOGON SCREEN

So rather then me, there are bunch of peoples who always want to learn new things regarding computing or hacking or making some new softwares, so recently some one asked me that how to change the logon screen image in window xp, first i thought that i have window 8 so how can i teach him then tried google and sort out that this is not so much difficult for anyone even not for beginners, so continue reading and follow my lead.


STEP BY STEP GUIDE

Please Click "Run" and type there "regedit" and hit/press "enter" as shown in below image

Now Click "HKEY_USERS" as shown in below image

Now Click "Control Panel" as shown in below image

Now after clicking Control panel please Click "Desktop" as shwon in below image

Now Double-click on "Wallpaper" as shown in below image

Now please click on blank box and Insert the location of the image you want to set as your Logon Screen wallpaper as shown in below image

NOTE

The image you want to set as your logon screen wallpaper, that must be in (.BMP) Format. If you don't know that how to change image format then read below.

CHANGING IMAGE FORMAT 

Please select any image and right click on it and select "open with" and then select "paint"

After this image will open in "paint" so then don't start editing image, just click on "file" and select "save as"

and then click on "BMP picture" see below image
