HOW TO PLAY CHESS TITANS IN WINDOWS 8/XP

Free download Microsoft’s Chess Titans game for Windows 8, Windows XP and Windows Vista – with complete installation instructions.
Microsoft’s Chess Titans is an awesome chess game for PC developed by Oberon Games. The games basically comes pre-installed with Windows Vista and Windows 7 Home Premium, Business/Professional, Enterprise, and Ultimate editions. It’s not available with former Windows versions like XPVista and the latest one that is Windows 8.

However, you can download and install Chess Titans on your Windows XP or Windows 8 externally using this tutorial, and the credit for this guide goes to Jimi P. Katzu who sent us this tutorial and the game setup.

The game is completely portable as you can run it directly by just double clicking “Chess Titans” shortcut after extracting the files from the archive anywhere on your hard disk.
But if you still want typically installed Chess Titans on your Windows, you can do it by running the “install.bat” file that will send the game files to the default Microsoft games folder insideProgram files directory of your Windows and also create a shortcut icon in start menu. Similarly, you can uninstall it using “uninstall.bat” file.
If running the install.bat file is not working for you, try copying all the files and folders manually to the Program directories. If you don’t know where to copy the files, paste the below path in the “Run” field of Start menu and hit enter:
"%ProgramFiles%\Microsoft Games"
The Microsoft Games folder (eg. C:/Program Files/Microsoft Games/) will be opened. Now create a new folder there with the name “Chess” and copy and paste all the extracted files in it.
